Course Overview – NPORS N304
The NPORS N304 Cable Avoidance Tool course provides operators with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely locate underground services using a cable avoidance tool and signal generator. The course focuses on hazard awareness, understanding underground services and reducing the risk of service strikes during excavation work.
Delivered on the client’s site, the course includes both theoretical instruction and practical assessment, ensuring operators can demonstrate correct search techniques, accurate detection and compliance with HSE guidance, including HSG47 and current legislation.
