First Aid at Work
3 Day
Our 3 day First Aid at Work course equips learners with the skills needed to deal with serious injuries and illnesses that may occur in the workplace. The training focuses on quick assessment, safe decision-making, and effective first aid treatment, ensuring participants are confident in handling both life-threatening emergencies and common workplace incidents.
Course Syllabus
This First Aid at Work course covers a wide range of essential topics, including:

Legalities, responsibilities, and reporting
Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
Fractures and spinal injuries
Resuscitation and AED awareness
Assessment of the situation
Control of bleeding
Asthma
Diabetes

On successful completion of the course, learners will receive a regulated First Aid at Work certificate from R and J Training Services, confirming they are trained and competent to act as a workplace first aider.
Course Requirements
​
A minimum of 4 learners and a maximum of 12 learners are required per course to ensure effective training. All participants must be at least 14 years old to attend.
